NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 2, 2005--Loews Corporation today
announced the appointment of David Edelson as Senior Vice President.
Mr. Edelson will help formulate corporate strategies, monitor the
performance of Loews subsidiaries, and oversee the investor relations
function for the Corporation.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Edelson served as Corporate
Treasurer of JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he worked from 1997 until
joining Loews. He also spent over 10 years as an investment banker at
Goldman Sachs & Co.

collaborative nature make him a perfect fit at Loews," said James S.

Mr. Edelson holds his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of
Business and his AB from Dartmouth College where he graduated magna
cum laude.
He is an active trustee of Central Synagogue in Manhattan and the
Jewish Board of Family & Children's Services. Mr. Edelson resides in
Manhattan with his wife and three children.
